Members are having a great day at the Swanage Railway travelling on the new service from Wareham.
20 members of Fareham and District Model Railway Club took the opportunity to use their annual club outing to explore the beautiful countryside between Wareham and Swanage and even had time for a little paddle in the sea. There was more than a little interest in the new multiple unit and of course the steam locomotives received particular attention.
The club secretary Roger Key said “we have been visiting heritage railways every year for the past five years as a way of giving members that little bit extra. It’s one of the many benefits of belonging to F&DMRC”
